Xgaffer
Xgaffer really is an ex-gaffer (and an ex-producer, ex-director,
ex-editor, ex-etc.) After 20 years in motion picture and video
production, XG moved into the marvels and wonders of science
and technology, multimedia applications and the sort of bullshit
that supposedly makes Silicon Valley cool. The jury remains
out on the success of that venture.
The stories he tells are true, the names - like his own -
are barely changed because his lawyer cannot assure him that
the statute of limitations has really run out.

MEMOIRS
OF A JUVENILE DELINQUENT- "THE REUNION"
People say things dont change. Maybe so. Same
houses. Needing a little paint. Bigger trees. I guess
that says something. The trees dont give a shit,
they just grow. Same park next-to-next-door. But nobody
playing baseball at the little diamond. No little kids
left, I suppose. The same killer "space capsule"
spinner that nearly took my finger off. >>>

MEMOIRS
OF A JUVENILE DELINQUENT-"SALESMANSHIP"
December can be ugly in Chicago. Not like February,
but close. February has a special ugly all its owngray
snow, sudden, wild, bitter cold, no end to winter in
sightbut December, even though it can hang on
to fall pretty well, when it gets ugly, it gets mighty
ugly. Some of it is obvious. With Christmas on its wayand
the Holiday Spirit filling everybody with a flammable
gas that can either send you reeling into happy land
or blow out of you like a fuel truck in a train wreckDecember
has that "extra" tension. >>>
